Chandi West Wing

Coeta and Donald Barker Educational Exhibits

On November 11, the General Patton Memorial Museum celebrated its 30th Anniversary and Grand Opening of the its new exhibits, sponsored by the Coeta and Donald Barker Foundation. The new educational exhibits take you through the Chandi West Wing and discusses the chain of events from Patton’s early years to the Great War, into World War II.

The Goal of the Museum’s exhibits are intended to offer the public an opportunity to come into the Museum with an interest and leave with the Pride, Passion, and Patriotism of who we are and where we came from. The stories that we share stretch from the Homefront effort to the women in the service, through the war including D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Pacific and the Holocaust. These stories throughout the exhibits no longer become stories, they become memories that impact the lives of our guests. Through the dedication and hard work of the Museum staff, we are honored to see the progress of the Museum in such short amount of time. These exhibits are intended to serve as an insight to the war as a whole and I felt we accomplished that goal and then some. We hope you enjoy them.

Our guests love the new Exhibit!
