WW II Veterans
Are you a World War II Veteran or know someone who is?
Stories are memories that need to be shared and told repeatedly. Hearing stories – your stories – in the voice of the teller, makes lasting impressions on the listener. The museum wants to capture these memories by any World War II and Korean War Veterans. The General Patton Memorial Museum (GPMM) has been honored to capture and share this important information to our guests and veterans.
For over 20 years, GPMM Board Member Pete Minix, a former US Marine Corps Sergeant and former Army National Guard Member, has the honor of doing documentation on these Veterans. Once the documentation is completed, the information will be placed in the GPMM’s Research Center and database. This will allow future generations to read what happened to the “greatest generation” of their time.
